The PUMA And Hello Kitty Collaboration

The collaboration between sportswear giant PUMA and pop culture icon Hello Kitty is all about cats, and not just because both brands are namesakes reference to felines. Hello Kitty’s cute, yet mysterious character has been garnering interest since its placement on notebooks and cell phone cases for over 40 years. PUMA’s Suede sneakers have been on feet since 1968. To celebrate the sneaker’s 50 anniversary the duo team up on a sneaker that combines the signature elements of both the iconic Suede and the recognizable Hello Kitty. The Suede gets a Hello Kitty makeover, done in a red and white color-way, the sneaker features graphics like the red bow and her ever-present milk bottle. The collaboration are all about those details. The Suede’s classic toe box, tongue, laces, heel and Formstripe are in crimson. It features a Hello kitty pattern and a chunky white sole, while at the bottom of each foot reveals a cheeky surprise, each foot bears a half of Hello kitty’s bow, which when placed next to each other completes the bow. The sneaker is just on time for valentines day and drops at both rime locations on Thursday Febuary 8th.Screen Shot 2018-02-06 at 7.07.36 PM Screen Shot 2018-02-06 at 7.08.36 PM

PUMA Celebrate The 5th Anniversary Of The Suede

The iconic PUMA Suede silhouette has been loved since its debut. It’s clean and classic soft suede and Formstripe makes it one of the easily recognizable silhouettes on the market. The silhouette is regarded as a classic and has gained that title because it has been worn by the icons of every generation and is loved for its simple, yet revolutionary design. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the shoe, the brand released a version inspired by PUMA’s founder Rudolf Dassler. The simplistic design goes back to the original color ways of the silhouette, but with updated touches in the PUMA logo on the heel and the luxe leather lining. These are currently available at rime locations. Screen Shot 2017-11-27 at 5.13.39 PM
