Nike’s Air Max Deluxe In Cool Grey And Total Orange

The Nike Air Max Deluxe’s ¬†wild patterns and bold details are a welcome re-entry to the current sneaker market. Inspired by rave culture and the sound waves the music makes, the sneaker has a chaotic vibe that mimics sound waves. Since its return in July, the sneaker has had several iterations, both classic and brand new. On the latest release for the silhouette, the sneaker’s signature wave pattern on the perforated upper features the bold color palette that mixes orange, blue, grey and white hues. Detailed with a molded heel featuring a shiny navy finish, the look of the sneaker is rounded out by a white midsole that features Air AMx cushioning with a blue interior and a black-blue rubber outsole. In 1999 raves crept out from being an underground subculture and started making its way into pop-culture, it was also the same year Nike released the Air Max Deluxe. The sneaker takes inspiration from the sound waves and frantic energy of a rave, leaving a bold and expressive footprint. After twenty years the silhouette is back with the same chaotic energy and bounce. The return features an original color-way of blue,grey, orange and black with a tie-dyed-like graphic throughout the neoprene upper.
