Adidas Continental 80

Adidas’ 80s sneaker the Continental 80 was supposed to return under the name Rascal, but the brand decided to return the sneaker to the market under its original name. The sneaker was the inspiration for the popular Yeezy Powerphase silhouette. The simple silhouette is directly out of adidas’ large archives. The first ever reissue of the sneaker has the silhouette done in its original form, featuring a red and navy stripe down its upper, as well as a terry-cloth interior, the sneaker is an exact replica of the original release. It has the same two-toned stripe running down the sneaker’s leather upper running along the side panels. The sneaker also has a double cupsole. The one-on-one reproduction of the original is currently available at rime’s Brooklyn location.Screen Shot 2018-06-12 at 8.19.20 PM

The sneaker also comes with a terry cloth lining and a double cupsole. The 2018 version are being released as part of the “Yung” series and will be a one-on-one reproduction of the original pair.
