Yahoo Finance Notice’s That Women’s Sneakers Are No Longer Just Pink

Yahoo Finance had a nice article about the sneaker market, specifically how the female sneaker area has increased. It might have to do with companies listening the the female consumer and realizing that not all women like pink. The popular styles aren’t just for men anymore, so women are interested in the expansion of options. PUMA’s Basket Crush Emboss Heart

PUMA’s Futro designs combines retro and future driven aesthetics. The brand’s striped down silhouettes from their archives and rebuilt them to create future icons that are rooted in PUMA’s history, and evolved for a modern world. The Basket Crush has that classic PUMA built silhouette. It features a full leather upper and  a distinct asymmetrical lacing system that creates a heart when feet are together. The heart design is a metallic foil heart outline that subtly stands out against the clean white sneaker. Rich Hil’s Tango Hotel Available At Rime

With Tommy Hilfiger as his dad, Rich Hil has design in his blood, so it’s not a huge surprise that he has his own apparel brand. Founded with his two friends Al-Baseer Holly and Stevie Williams, the trio started Tango Hotel with mantra of living everyday as if it were their last. The bi-coastal brand features men’s streetwear clothing and accessories designed around a permanent vacation lifestyle led by skaters, artists and musicians. Their Canvas to Reality Series, is an ongoing theme where artists can express themselves and bring their creations to life, a theme that is a direct tie to the brand’s spirit. The latest drop includes “The Man with the Vision” windbreaker and shorts. “The Man with the Vision” is one of Al Baseer Holly’s personal favorites, where he combines his two greatest influencers, Basquiat and Picasso. The painting features Picasso, with a Basquiat crown. Holly also incorporates painting techniques influenced by both artists into the painting. The Windbreaker and shorts can be worn as a set or separately. PUMA’s RS-0 Winter INJ Toys

PUMA’s Running System line was a mainstay of running culture during the late ’80s for its superior cushioning properties. This reissue takes design inspiration from the decade of the original, with some added updates for a contemporary look. The textile upper allows air to circulate, making it super breathable. Suede overlays add a subtle contrast, while the elastic sock construction provides extra comfort. The Air Max 720 GS “Throwback Future” Pack China Exclusive.

The Air Max Throwback Future pack has a range of Air Max silhouettes amplified by iridescent color-ways. In the mix is a China exclusive Air Max 720 in a matte-finish black base. The sneaker stands out for its futuristic design and bold color palette. Its black upper is accented by an iridescent teal, while an iridescent oil slick green appears right above the shiny grayish sole. The sneaker stands out on the bright spring days. Supreme and The North face follow up on their leather jacket and accessories Fall/Winter 2018 collection with a range of mountain Jackets, Denali fleece Jacket , Duffle Bags, hats and blankets. The two brands’ distinct aesthetics come together The North Face’s iconic color palette of red, yellow, purple and aqua are joined by all black offerings. The Mountain Parka Jackets and Mountain Pants are stand outs because they’re made exclusively for Supreme, they also feature waterproof GORE-TEX nylon. Air Max Day At Rime

To celebrate Air Max Day 2019, rime isn’t only participating in Nike’s “Give Fresh Air” campaign, which is all about donating sneakers, but rime Brooklyn is also hosting a special class on the history of the Air Max to celebrate the day. The class will be taught by Drexel University’s Rankin Scholar Sean Williams, and host of ObsesSive Sneaker Disorder Podcast. The class is from 6-8 on Air Max Day March 26th. Rime Partners With Nike’s “Give Fresh Air” Campaign.

Instead of releasing a limited edition sneaker for Air Max month, this time around Nike is doing things different. The Swoosh brand is partnering with their top retailers to give back to the community. The campaign was designed to start a change and the help the community through a common love for sneakers and the want to make a difference. The “Give Fresh Air” campaign is all about Nike fans donating new and gently worn sneakers to stores partnering up with local organizations as part of the initiative. rime has partnered with local organization Heeling Soles, an organization dedicated to helping heal humanity and building community, by providing shoes, clothing and support to those in need. Rime And Lola Getts Presents “Curvy Kicks”

Lola Getts is a plus size activewear and athleisure brand designed to make the woman feel comfortable, confident and empowered while wearing it. To kick off carrying the brand rime is hosting the rime X Lola Getts event at the Brooklyn location on Atlantic Ave. Tunes will be spun, wine will be served and a panel discussion will explore curvy athleisure and positive body self image. PUMA Women’s RS-150

PUMA’s Rs-150 was specifically designed as a women’s update to the original 80′s PUMA RS-100. Debuting in 1986, the Running System compound was ahead of its time with superior cushioning and performance. This modern update uses the same RS compound, and combines the retro 80s style with a more narrow feminine shape. The nylon upper features suede overlays and a PUMA Formstrip leather overlay. Finishing off the look of the sneaker are RS-150 branding on the side and PUMA branding on the tongue. The slim design and its technology geared towards comfort, makes it a great everyday sneaker.
