SNKRHEADNYC Apparel Available At Rime’s Brooklyn Location

SNKRHEADNYC is one of those brands that has a strong street-wear aesthetic. The brand offers graphic tees and puts their own spin on street-wear silhouettes, like basketball jerseys. The brand takes pop culture stand outs and puts their own street-wear take on them, like taking the recognizable Bulls team basketball jersey and adding ‘hit” to “Bulls”. Their SNKRHEADNYC box logo is also reminiscent of one of New York’s leading streetwear brand’s, Supreme, while letting everyone know the wearer’s love for sneaker culture. SNKRHEADNYC apparel is available at rime’s Brooklyn location.

Nike’s React Element 87 In Orewood Brown And Laser Orange

Nike continues to drop new color-ways for their new read element 97 silhouette. The sneaker is a technical, futuristic runner built on the characteristics of their performance sneakers. Advanced construction features responsive REACT foam cushioning and an inside-out deconstructed aesthetic. The inspiration for the style came from drilling holes in the foam of the sole unit, with the aim of attaining greater levels of comfort. A retro inspired upper constructed from TPE textile yarn, which completes the React Element’s translucent look, sits on top of an abstract outsole, creating a contemporary silhouette. This color-way is a contrasting combination of light beige and volt. Nike Air VaporMax Utility 2019 Chinese New Year In Canyon Red

For 11 years Nike has celebrated Chinese New Year with its own range. The 12th year celebration uses a Chinese patchwork method, known as Bai Jia Yi, for inspiration and delivered new takes on popular silhouettes. One addition to Nike’s 12th Chinese New Year range is the Air VaporMax Utility in a “Canyon Red” and Black color-way. The “Canyon Red” hues take over the sneaker, making this one of the more bolder options for the Air VaporMax Utility. Black and red accents contrasts the all-red upper and darker translucent sole. Chinese characters on the back pull tabs and Bai Jia Yi pattern on the insoles complete the overall aesthetic of the sneaker. Air Max 720 Launch Party At Rime

To celebrate the debut of Nike’s latest performance sneaker, the Air Max 720, rime is having a launch party at their Brooklyn location. There will be a raffle for a free pair of the “Northern Lights” (Night) version of the sneaker. And the first 50 get a ticket for first come first serve on release day, February 1st at 11 am. Nike’s Kyrie 5 “Just Do It” Sneaker

Nike finds new and interesting ways to add their famous “Just Do It” marketing motif to their sneaker silhouettes. The latest sneaker to get the “Just Do It” makeover is the Kyrie 5. Kyrie Irving’s newest signature shoe takes on the brand’s slogan in a bright retro color-palette on top of a black base. “Just” appears in pink on the lateral side of the left shoe, while “Do It” is on the lateral side of the right shoe in blue, pink and yellow. Each sneaker features a classic red and grey Nike tag stitched onto the hamsa-inspired heel piece. There are further hits of pink, blue and yellow on the medial midst, midsole, collar and outsole. Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Denim Love Low

The Chuck Taylor All Star Denim Love low top sneaker brings a playful, utilitarian design to a classic silhouette. Inspired by workwear fabrics the sneaker is constructed out of a sturdy denim with a breathable liner. The classic sneaker gets a modern revamp. Stand out features include the blue denim construction and the whimsical detail of a red rubber heart on the foxing, giving it an extra dose of personality. Victoria Beckham And Reebok Collaborate

Victoria Beckham has been a style icon since her days as a spice girl, and after, creating a label that is chic and fashion forward. The Victoria Beckham label takes on the Spice Girl’s “Posh” sensibility, with cutting edge trend-setting pieces that are effortless, and exude expensive. For her collaboration with Reebok the designer offers men’s, women’s and unisex styles across apparel and footwear. Beckham drew inspiration from her transatlantic living experience between Los Angeles and London, where laid-back Californian spirit meets reminded British tailoring.  The range offers contemporary performance and street-wear pieces, that easily go from the gym to the streets. The pieces reflect Beckham’s aesthetic with her own line, consisting of clean silhouettes constructed out of elevated fabrics that are branded with subtle graphics. Mixing a relaxed street-wear attitude with the technical performance of sportswear, the pieces maintain a minimal aesthetic of the VB brand. Each piece is designed to adapt and transition with the body for the optimum workout, while being fashion-forward and seamlessly blending in with any wardrobe. The color-palette is a blend of silver, camel and grey with pops of orange.

Nike Air Max 720

After teasing their latest silhouette, the Air Max 720, Nike is set to drop the sneaker later this week. Following the engineering principles of the Air Max 270, the 720 introduces a unique construction that allows the foot to rest on the platform securely. The upper offers something different compared to the performance sneakers currently on the market, and is equipped with with Nike’s tallest Air unit yet. It uses numerous materials for a futuristic aesthetic with first of its kind cushioning. Branding subtle, focusing on the futuristic aesthetic. The first two releases include the Northern Lights Night and Northern Lights day. The Northern Lights Night comes dressed in a Metallic Silver and Black color-scheme, sporting a mesh upper with metallic detailing wrapping around the shoe. A clear full length clear Max Air sole unit completes the design. The Northern Lights Day is done in a mint green, with a light blue on the lower half, with off-white details on the sides, back ankle and the back of the Air Unit. Converse One Star Academy OX

Converse brings back one of its iconic silhouettes, the One Star Academy Ox. First launched in the 1970s, the silhouette is a classic for a whole generation. The latest release has the sneaker done in vintage inspired color-ways on a raw suede upper, giving a modern update to a classic. There’s the off-white color-way with black accents on the side star and double lines, this dusky white suede will only look better worn in and beat up.
