Nike Air Force 1 Low Just Do It

Nike continues to celebrate their “Just Do It” slogan. After the Air Force 1 High  got the “Just Do It” makeover, next up is the Air Fore 1 Low. Like the high, the low features a bright orange synthetic leather upper atop a white sole that features full-length Air underfoot for a comfortable ride no matter the terrain. The “Just Do It” logo is seen on the lateral side of the sneaker. The bold sneakers  work with any personal style, whether to liven up a minimalist ‘fit or to amp up an even bolder look. The New Balance X-90

New Balance’s X-90 has a retro vibe to it, because it take design inspiration from the ’90s with its chunky REVlite midsole unit. The minimalist upper is simple and versatile to work with any outfit. The overlays adds a distinctively heritage-inspired feel that brings it back to New Balance’s classic roots. The innovative REVlite midsole provides premium response and durability at a 30% lighter weight that other foams with competitive performance. Nike Air Vapormax Moc 2 In Pink Blast

Nike’s Air Vapormax Moc 2 Pink Blast is a matching color-way to the Pink Blast Vapormax Flyknit 2. The moccasin-style Flyknit upper makes it easy to slip on and off,  and is done in black, while accented by orange pull tabs and bright pink heel clips. Aimé Leon Dore Fall/ Winter 2018

Aimé Leon Dore’s fall/winter 2018 collection has everything from suiting to street-wear staples silhouettes like crewnecks and hoodies. The collection is cut and sewn in New York and Canada using premium, globally-sourced fabrics. Collaborations with Woolwich, Timberland and Suicoke are part of the collection. The refined street-wear aesthetic shines through the  cut and fit of the pieces. For the colder months the brand offers some cozy sweaters, while the new technical pieces adds some versatility. The brand’s retro vibe is elevated by branded and color-blocked sweats, hoodies, joggers and polos. Dore offers prime pieces for the colder weather, like puffer jackets, utility-inspired vests and quilted overalls also shows that the brand is able to produce pieces meant to withstand the cold weather temperature. The refined aspect of the collection is seen in blazers, suits and the chunky knits. Nike’s Just Do It Air Force 1 Hi ’07

Nike’s iconic Air Force 1 High gets a premium upgrade in the form of a “Just Do It” makeover. The upgrade of the classic basketball sneaker is done in a bold orange upper. It’s the latest silhouette that celebrates Nike’s slogan from 1988 for it’s 30th anniversary. The bright upper of the sneaker is detailed with an adjustable ankle strap and elevated with “Just Do It” hangtags and branding across the heel. Rounding out the look of the sneaker is the Nike Air-branded tongue labels and a white rubber sole. Nike Vapormax Light 2

Nike have been paring their innovative Vapormax technology with some of their classic silhouettes. The revolutionary technology is set to be released on a high-top shoe that takes inspiration from the 1994 Air Max Light. The sneaker features a grey sock-like upper, with a medium grey knit material as the base, while light grey accents are the leather overlays that take inspiration from the Air Max Light and a grey plastic toe cap/heel cage. Stüssy Women’s Fall 2018

Stüssy’s fall 2018 first offering takes the brand’s street-wear aesthetic and mixes it up with ’70s and ’90s themes. Early rave culture is a heavy inspiration for the collection, as seen in the way baggy cargo pants are styled with crop tops. The outerwear offering is emblazoned with the Stüssy logo, on hoodies, sweaters and light jackets. The collection takes the retro inspiration and does it effortlessly for a modern appeal. The retro and contemporary designs allows the pieces to work with any personal style. The collection shows Stüssy’s bolder side for the women. The fabrics are premium, the prints are dynamic and the graphics are more streamlined. Prints are bolder, as seen with the use of eyeballs and vibrant plaid on mohair to coral velveteen. Elevating the retro and contemporary aspect is the paring of distinct patterns with progressive fabrics. Nike’s Air Foamposite Summit White For Women

A women’s exclusive color-way of Nike’s late ’90s futuristic Air Foamposite is set to release at the end of the month. The classic Penny Hardaway sneaker features a Summit White upper with metallic rose gold and silver finish along the lace collar and ankle for a luxe vibe. Dark brown pull-tabs on the tongue and heel adds a nice contrast to the matte marble-inspired sneaker. Nike’s “Just Do It” Air Max 97

Nike’s “Just Do It” collection have included a number of their iconic models, like the Air Max 95. The initial drop of the collection did not include one of the brand’s stand outs, the Air Max 97. Now the Air Max 97 gets the “Just Do It” treatment. The sneaker is done in a black base, with the popular all-over graphic on its mudguard and its lowest racing stripe. Orange and white take over the sole unit, with white on the midsole and orange on the visible translucent Air unit. These are currently available at rime’s Brooklyn location. Rime Is Hosting A Skewville Event On September 5th

Skewville are an art duo of brothers, Deville and Droo. The brothers started Skewville 20 years ago, an ode to New York’s sneaker heads, tagging the city’s 5 boroughs with with their wooden sneakers in a project called “When Dogs Fly”. The limited wooden sneakers quickly gained a cult following. Catalogued around the world and photographed not only by fans but also art collectors. Their unique style has evolved into taking inspirations from NYC’s Hip-Hop roots of giant boomboxes and mashups of classic Americana advertising slogans. The brothers have returned home to NYC after spreading the sneaker love of over 5,000 Sneakers all over the world to release two exclusive “BKLYN” limited edition sneakers. Each pair are hand pulled and screen printed multiple times with specially fixed matte and metallic inks. The sneakers are hand cut and crafted by the brothers in Brooklyn and assembled with custom Skewville laces and custom screen printed shoe bags. Each pair are hand signed and comes with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. The event will be held at rime’s Brooklyn location on September 5th from 7-10, where the sneakers will be on sale and the artists, the brothers behind Skewville will be in attendance.
