Just a random K.dot selection to vibe to during this “inclement weather” we’re having.
Inspired by Chicago, Los Angeles and Brooklyn (undoubtedly) the Nike Lunar Force 1 “City” Pack pays homage to the some of the greatest places on Earth. Complete with the Air Force logo on the tongue the City pack is a classic silhouette fusion with lunar outer soles.
Each shoe has their own fresh take on the Air Force 1. The “Chi-Town” shoe is definitely a tribute to the team that made the city famous; the Chicago Bulls. Featuring the black and white color way of the Brooklyn Nets and the Brooklyn bridge archways on the heel, the Brooklyn shoe says NYC all the way. The Los Angeles silver and blue color way can play homage to the silver screens of Hollywood and the beautiful Pacific Ocean (what do you think?).
It’s amazing how much of an effect someone can have on you without ever knowing them personally. And even more intriguing how they can expand your thoughts and mindset through their musical message. The loss of Jamal Dewar aka Capital STEEZ this past Christmas Eve was a great one not only to the plight of hip hop music but to his family and musical collective ProEra. Be sure to clear your mind and listen to track I believe is an integral part of consciousness amongst youth.
Every Thursday we’ll be posting a throwback video for your viewing or listening pleasure, ranging from our favorite 90′s musical selection to at home DIY’s to keep your kicks fresh.

In the spirit of Christmas, on December 26th, Nike will be releasing a special holiday edition of the KD V’s. The sneaker features a hyper blue dominated body with an atomic green soul and swoosh resting on a pixelated, multicolor design. Nike is no stranger to holiday releases and has done plenty in the past years but with the Kobe 8′s, the Lebron X’s, and now the KD V’s, Nike is providing cheer to sneaker heads in the form of dope kicks!
After releasing the much hyped hot pink color-way of its popular Foamposite sneaker, Nike drops the Stealth. The Stealth is an all black take on the Foamposite One which features Foamposite technology made from a synthetic molded upper. Wrapping up a year that has proven to be “the year of the Foams,” Nike concludes 2012 with a sleek color-way that is sure to sell out at sneaker stores across the country. We here at Rime were sold out within 10-minutes, so good luck and be safe on your hunt for the hottest shoe of the week!
