All-Star Fiasco / Converse CT Red Hollywood All-Star Hi (Lupe’s)

It just feels right that one of my favorite rappers collaborate with one of the all time classic sneaker brands.  The man on constant rotation on my iPod, Lupe Fiasco has given his spin to the Converse All Stars to raise funds for the widely known humanitarian effort, Project Red.  The end result is a really sleek, almost dressed up version of the All-Star.  Normally I’m not a fan of all that shine, but you know they will look hot with a pair of black skinny jeans. The best part is that now all you have to do to justify this purchase is to remind yourself that every penny goes to help fight AIDS in Africa.

This event will be general Particular’s second collective show featuring an impressive roster of talent. Featured artists include: Jesse Jones, Jamel ShabazzMark Varges, Moni Pineda, and our girl Vanessa Chakour, just to name a few. Love Awareness Program / FUCT 2009 Spring – Summer Collection

Out of all the brands that we have had the honor of hustling at Rime, FUCT is by far the one I have the most personal interest in. So it is with great pleasure to announce that the Spring / Summer 2009 Collection has arrived. We currently have four styles available, but rest assured if you sleep to long on it, you will have a better chance of putting your hands on a pair of Yeezys than on one of these tee’s. They have been in the shop less than two days and our run on the smaller sizes is already starting to dwindle. Read the rest of this entry »

Batteries Not Included / Nike Wii Pack

Let’s be honest, your Wii has been collecting dust.  You’ve played all the Wii Sports, probably loved tennis and bowling- golf was cool for like five.  By now, you may or may not have lost the Wiimote under the couch. The Nike Wii pack will satisfy gamers and non-gamers alike.  Comprised of Air Force IIs (translucent sole, matrix hologram, safari & ostrich print) and Blazers (icy blue sole, orange highlighting), they do not disappoint.  I know that once you bring home your own, you’ll press the power button on the tongue, caress it’s sleek white body, and let the game come to you.  Note on the Air Force IIs: there are clear side panels, so  you’ll need to have socks that are a) clean and b) not heinous (you know which ones I’m talking about).
