This model has garnered much attention around the shop and the speculation has been high if and when we would receive it. Well, the Nike Sportswear Air Elan Pinnacle QS is here and takes on the role of a more refined court-style sneaker that fits right in with our style. Created exclusively for the high-end Nike Sportswear Pinnacle collection, the shoe features a rich full-grain leather upper with minimal detailings. The shoe’s Swoosh is marked by perforations with other noteworthy elements including a printed liner and croc hits on the tongue. We have a very limited supply of these and they are moving fast.
Spring 09 will mark our second season stocking DC Life Collection, a less skate-centric, lifestyle range that was introduced 7 seasons ago and has flown pretty much under the radar until now. The current collection consist of 4 unique styles that remain exclusive to the range of shoes under the DC Life umbrella. One of our favorite models from the line, the Admiral, (pictured above) is clad in premium materials, such as full grain leather with durable canvas panels, and stears clear of the usual chunky skate styles we have been exposed to over the years from DC. It also appears we aren’t the only ones feeling the Admiral. Check out photo’s of Talib Kweli rocking them on stage at the House of Blues after the jump.
Even though the hot coral and teal accents on the shoe give it an 80′s vibe don’t let the Miami Vice colorway fool you. The Air Digs actually surfaced in 1991 as a volleyball shoe. With a cross-trainer-esque physique, rubber mesh featured in the panelling, adjustable lacing, and a gum sole, this sneaker stands it’s ground both on and off the court. So if the question remains, “Can we dig it?” Our answer would be a solid “Yes we can.”
